Who writes it
Editorial is written by Julien Larocque, an offshore licence verification analyst in Montreal who works from licence frameworks and issuer records rather than from operator relationships. That background is why this site treats the licence line in a footer as the centre of the subject and the seal beside it as decoration. Most affiliate pages have that the other way round.
How it is funded
We earn commission when a reader signs up with an operator through a link here. That is the whole business model and we would rather state it plainly than bury it. It does not buy position on our list, an operator cannot pay to rank, and we have left a brand on the page with no bonus figure at all rather than publish one we could not source.
What we will not publish
- A licence we did not verify. We do not state that an operator holds a credential from any issuing body unless that credential was checked against the issuer. For the current lineup, none was, and the comparison table on our main page says so in its own columns.
- Testing laboratory claims. We hold no sourced facts about which laboratory examined which operator's software, so no laboratory is named anywhere on this site.
- Payout times we did not measure. Where an operator states a processing window, that is the operator's figure and we attribute it rather than presenting it as tested.
- Bonus figures we cannot source. If an operator publishes no Canadian offer, the field stays empty and the page says so.
- Regulatory claims we cannot stand behind. The operators we list are offshore. They are not registered with the AGCO and not conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario, and we say that where it matters instead of blurring it.
Corrections
Licensing regimes change and cashiers change. Every figure we publish carries the date we captured it, and the issuing authority's own record is the authority if our page disagrees with it. If you find something out of date or wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it or remove it.
